Soprano - Alto - Tenor - Baritone

A legend reborn

An Introduction

The Hanson LX Saxophone is our tribute to the famous Selmer Mark VI. The LX is a true ‘players’ sax, it’s going to cost approximately half the going rate of a Mark VI, but tested along side one it will play and feel just as good if not better.

The recipe for Hanson LX is to take a 1954 Selmer Mark VI, strip it down to every single component part, invest in world leading analytical technology to inspect every component, and then build our own version using 21st Century engineering and techniques.  A legend reborn.

In blind testing with a Vintage prepared Hanson LX and three Selmer MKVI saxophones professional players could discerne which sax was which.
